Donations to the Mood Disorders Society of Canada (MDSC)are the foundation for our work. The MDSC is engaged on an ongoing basis in a wide range and a significant number of projects and initiatives designed to support the inclusion of persons with mental illnesses in Canadian society and has taken a lead proactive role in public policy and program development in many capacities on the national stage.

Our ongoing efforts ensure that persons affected by mental health issues, enjoy the fullest, most productive lives possible, within a healthy, stigma-free environment. We work diligently to provide supports and resources to assist families and caregivers and our efforts are concentrated on providing real help that positively impacts their daily living.

Get involved as a Site Support Staff volunteer (e.g. assisting trainers, community outreach, marketing, etc.).

Become a Partner

The Transitions to Communities project is looking for community partners who share our goals of assisting Canadians with physical and/or mental disabilities to transition into employment and we are seeking partners who will assist our program grow and succeed.

Partnership opportunities are tailored to include a wide spectrum of approaches. These can consist of corporate partnerships that offer workplace tours and the hiring of our graduates, to innovative ideas that support the program, to new concepts that would increase services, supports and opportunities.

Provide Workplace Tours

Our program includes taking tours of local businesses in order to get an inside understanding of what it’s like to work for your business. This allows veterans to see for themselves your work environment and to be able to envision a career with your organization. It also allows your managers to get to meet potential employees in a comfortable setting.
